The Sus it Out Plus™ programme has received a grant from the Big Lottery Fund to work with 150 community groups over the two years to 31 March 2011. The grant was awarded under the Dynamic Inclusive Communities strand of the Investing in Communities programme, with an emphasis on delivering on their Outcome 5 - People and communities have more power over their lives and more say in decisions that are made about them.
In delivering the Sus it Out Plus™ programme Forward Scotland will be working closely with two other organisations who also received grants to deliver programmes directed towards the same outcome. The Scottish Community Development Centre will be delivering Achieving Community Empowerment and the Scottish Community Foundation have a programme called Our Community, Our Future. We'll add links to these programmes as more information is available.
